Wild, Rugged, Secluded and fantastic hunting of all types! The Magueyitos Ranch is a “Throwback” to a day and time when hunting was hunting! This is true Muy Grande country and is located in of of South Texas’ best, most historic areas for producing giant whitetail bucks. 2 sides of the ranch are high fenced while the other two are low fenced.

If hunting artifacts is your passion- you will enjoy this ranch for sure! Petrified sea shell, palm trees and various other fossils have been found here and numerous arrowheads.

This property is access via private easement road that extends 1.5 miles north of HW 44 to the SW corner of the ranch. As secluded as it is- you can be in Freer in less than 15 minutes!

Wildlife- Big whitetails, javelina, wild hogs, quail, predators, dove and fishing in the tanks.

Water- There are 3 large stock tanks/lakes that hold water for extended periods of time. These tanks are magnets for all types of game and waterfowl as well.

Terrain- Gently rolling, multiple wet weather drainages, clay loam and gravel ridges with sandy loam in other parts of the lower areas.

Vegetation- Heavy brush (guajillo, black brush, mesquite, palo verde, granjeno, guajucan,etc) covers 3/4 of the property and several “prickly pear flats” are scattered throughout as well. Plentiful senderos and roads give access to all parts of the property. All of the right brushes and browse are here to support growing big deer.
